For anyone unfamiliar with the book, it comes highly recommended as winners of both the Hugo and Nebula awards.

Set in Earth's future, the humans have barely survived two conflicts against an Insectoid type alien race known as the the Buggers. In response, extremely talented children are recruited and installed at a military installation called Battle School where they participate in war games to determine which great minds have the best potential to lead humankind into victory over the Buggers.

They book is listed in the Library of Congress top 100 recommended reading list as well as the Marine Corp top 10 reading list especially targeting Marine Corp Officers. The book is also rumored as required reading for an intelligence agency within the UK.
